The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of most important non-profit organizations promoting responsible and sustainable development of the textile industry internationally.
Through this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the development of a sustainable production and consumption model; it aims to contribute to the reduction of resource consumption and to improve the quality of recycled products. GRS provides for the issuance of a third-party verified environmental report that demonstrates:
The content of recycled materials in products (intermediate and final products);
Compliance with environmental and social criteria along the entire production chain.
We are proud to be registered as a GRS operator using yarn from recycled plastic bottles (PET), fishing nets, carpets and car tires. Recycling and reusing textiles, fibers and waste materials is an effective way to ensure sustainability in the apparel industry.
